I am a photographer.  I consider myself a contemplative person, however I spend much of my time speeding up to catch moments with my camera rather than in quiet reflective meditation.  I look at a photography session as a journey of consciousness where I am able to watch myself and my subject grow exponentially through the act of visual documentation.  It's much like traveling a familiar road again and again, only to arrive at a new and different place each time.
